Roy Hamilton was known as 'The Golden Voice' and forged a hugely successful career with Epic Records in the 50s and early 60s as an R&B and balladsinger. This is the only CD collection that properly covers Hamilton's post-Epic recordings, featuring the best of his output during the 60s for the MGM, RCA Victor and AGP labels as well as a rare one-off for Capitol. Hamilton was allowed to work out with the Devil Rays minor league players starting on June 2, 2006. By the end of the month, he was allowed to participate in minor league games.
